Fleetwood discovery outside kitchen

I have a 2007 fleetwood discovery with outside kitchen. I have two questions. 1) How does the waste water basin pump work? Is it a submersible and when water gets high enough in basin it activates? I do not see a switch for it? 2) I have connected my grill to the quick connect but it does not seem to have enough pressure to keep my grill lit with minimal wind. My grill is a coleman roadmate. Could there be something going on with hose fittings? THX.

I can't help you with your sink drain question but I may be able to shed some light on your grill problem.

The propane quick connect on our Discovery is dispensing propane AFTER the coach regulator so it is low pressure(already regulated). Your grill has a second regulator that needs to be removed, and if it can't be, you need a grill without the second regulator. I have a Weber Baby-Q and I removed the grill regulator and replaced it with a quick connect fitting.

Yes, the pump is a submersible. Jim is correct on the regulator problem.

Talking to stuhly

Stuhly,
THx. for the response. We had some folks at local RV service checking on it and they disconnected the pump and ran direct power to it and it ran. They told me it was probably a fuse. I have searched on line with various key words and have gotten nothing technical of help. Same for the propane issue.

OK I have checked my pump out. I filled the waste basin up and the pump did not come on. Is there a switch or fuse? If not, how does one change it out without completely removing the outside kitchen from the coach? How do you get enough waste hose to disconnect the pump. A bit puzzled about how big a project this might be?
