Fleetwood front end sag.

I have a 2008 40 ft Fleetwood Excursion. The right front end is 2 in lower than the left. I have been told by Freightliner that the leaf is a little weak and 2 in is within specs. Everything works perfect. Alignment is straight and MH steers smooth and even. Should I be concerned and investigate further? Rick, Las Vegas

2" May be within spec but it is not normal. If the spring is truly a little weak, it will continue to sag more as it ages. If your rig is not properly loaded causing that side to sag then that is a different story. Have you had it weighed? You need to know how much weight is on each wheel before condeming the spring. If after finding the rig is properly loaded and the right side is not overloaded, I would find a truck spring shop and have BOTH front springs rebuilt. If only the right one is done, you could end up with the left side saging. Good luck.

Okay....maybe I'm missing something here or having a huge brain fart. Isn't the Excusion a diesel pusher with air ride suspension? If you're having height issues, you need you're ride height adjusted.

Had the same problem with my Coachman. It was fixed by adjusting the rear ride height.

My thought also - an Excursion has air suspension, not leaf springs.
