Fleetwood Revolution LE

Considering a 41ft 06-07 Fleetwood Rev. as a next MH. Any negative areas on this unit?

Thanks

No more then any coach of that era. Check the roof, top radius and front cap for failing clearcoat which seems common.

Coach of that age likely needs tires.

Mine has 2 AC's that when in super hot weather struggle to keep coach cool without other actions.

Drives like a dream. Seems VERY well built. Has great support from AC. I would buy another.

It is a used coach, look it over well. That said, used Revolutions seem to be one of the most sought after and don't seem to sit long on a dealers lot. I'd echo the statement that A/C service support is excellent.

I've got a 2003 38b with 50,000 miles would love the LE, but it is well built drives like a dream, just spent a week at Temple bar, the A/C's had no trouble keeping up in the 100 plus temperatures, the only problem that I have had consistently was the Norcold, I've spent a lot of time, did the Amish thing dinosaur board, mand the fridge fix, I think I got it sorted now

Thanks Chris,
I have looked at some with clear coat problems, other are fine. Did you have the 20k valve adjustment done? Is that expensive? Is it critical if it got missed?

I don't know actually I bought the coach with 40,000 miles in it, at that time the thing had been completely serviced with 6 new tires and 6 new batteries, I don't know about the valves, but now I'm going to find out, thanks

Oh and yes, mine has clear coat problems, some of it has been fixed, most not, I'm sort of going around trying to touch it up myself, but now it's summer and hot, so I'll start again when it gets cooler

Yes, I have had mine done at ~35K. As long as the coach doesn't have >80K or so without the adjustment you are ok. In fact, Cat rep on phone actually said 35K is better then 20K for initial break in before adjustment.

Mine ran better after, and it isn't that expensive. Expect between $300-600 (which is nothing on these rigs, that is a rounding error!! ;-)

Norcold's are in lots of brand coaches, so not specific to AC Rev. That said, if you have any issues with one (or don't), I highly recommend throwing it out and getting a residential fridge!

06-07 should be on a spartan mountain master chassis (very good) 40ft coach. As for the clear coat I think all black caps peeled. Just got through repairing mine myself 3 hrs of my labor and a $100 in supplies or $2,500 at CW. The ride and power are excellent.

I bought a 2007 fleetwood revolution 42n,in december 2013.
I have had many problems with it.
Our 1st trip the generator would not start, completely out of coolant
Next the dash air inop.
Have a bad airleak at driver windshield, fairing ,the verticle fairing is loose and i have to tape it to keep from blowing off.
Next trip,in May 2014,jack leveling foot completely came off somewhere, in,nc.or va.
Then the hydraulic levelers blew a hydraulic hose due to the pump overheating or or\ver pressure.
The service engine light flashed several times on our trip.
Got the coach back home took it to,Cat dealer Jefferson,ga.they found a hole in the intake duct after the turbo, the duct rubed a hole in the exhaust duct.
It has been 1 thing after another.I am extremely dissapointed in the coach.
If you have any questinos, there is more problems, snd me a message.
by the way i bought this coach from,CAMPING WORLD IN ATLANTA,nuff said???

Sorry to hear of your troubles Ray. Sounds like that poor thing was put through the ringer before you got it.
