Flexsteel Extenda Flex Couch

I have a 2013 Winnebago Sighteer 35G with a Flexsteel Extenda Flex couch that makes a U-shape when you extend the two ends. During the first year of warranty we complained constantly to the dealer the the seat bottoms that you need to lift when extending the seats were very difficult. They tried several times to make it easier, but to no avail. Now that it is out of warranty it is our problem, so I was wondering if anyone else experienced this. I know Flexsteel is used on Winnebago and Tiffons, so was looking for any help you might provide. Thanks!

I have the flexsteel, L-shaped sofa and had a similar issue. I extended the sofa end, then layed on the floor and watched it while sliding it in and out. I have two wheels under that part that I adjusted to raise the moving part up, just a little bit, I also bought non marring wheels at lowes, which also makes it go in and out smoother, don't raise it too much as you can have interferance with the sofa framing.I hope this helps.
