Before you drive it any distance, be sure and pull all the wheels and thoroughly clean the brakes. After a flood, they can start to rust and become a problem, even though they are now working fine.

While not wanting to get into this 'fray', I looked at our MH and if it got into two feet of water, I see lots of issues. As has already been stated, rear differential, transmission, brake system are just the beginning of items to address. Depending on the insurance company, they may have someone that deals with MH's and know what they are looking at/for. See what the insurance is offering and go from there. If it got high enough to get at the sub floor, then let the insurance have it and walk away.
There are lots of nice MH's that you could get and be happy with.

When I started it, water came out of the exhaust
You can see the flood line. The water came up to the first step of the entrance door but not to the carpet
Also the coach was sitting in an angle, butt up
I'm going to have the shop determine if we should repair or ask to total it, I guess

It seems a reminder of our Community Rules is in order:

Let's knock off the name calling.
Thanks,

Hi, thanks for your reply
There are electronics located in the bay under the drivers seat
There were 2 connection boxes tact were submerged
The repair shop said that they could replace them

Usually the "total loss" mark is 70%ish of book value.
You got to think: the parts may not be a lot; maybe 3-5k. But the time? There is time involved to be paid.
Also, where were there "personal" attacks?

So adjusted my insurance I had on it to bring it inline with the cost I had it insured for with the book value, no sense in paying insurance premium for something I won't get if something happens. Yep, that's how it's set up. and no, it's not cheap, something over $500 per 6 months. Been with GMAC for years now although they did change the company name to something like "National General" now.

You never know what an insurance company is going to do until you file a claim and I'd be interested to know how they treat you.
What insurance company are you with?
