Having been a disaster insurance adjuster for over 15 years and having looked at many, many RV's that have been in flood waters, I can assure you that noboby wants an RV that has gotten water into the electronics or inside the coach. There is a 100% chance that you will have problems down the road. Don't be tempted by a greatly reduced price.

This week I was bringing my 2010 Class A Winnebago Vista 32k from Covington, La to Miller's RV in Baton Rouge for its consignment. Very Sorry to say that won't happen now. If anyone has a need for a great coach that's been high & dry, covered with 16,000 miles, please let me know and I'll send you pictures & price.

For my understanding, if you have a rig on a lot for sale as consignment, who is responsible to get it to high ground, safe etc. Does the owner bear the loss or the dealership?

The agreement the consigning vehicle owner signs, holds the dealer totally blameless of any damage/loss. Have known of instances were the dealer went bankrupt and the classis car was seized by the bank and sold at auction and car owner had to sue.
