What type of flooring did you use?

Did you do the install yourself?

DW wants ours done.

Did you replace the seal on the underside of your slide? I was told that if you replace carpet with a hard surface floor that the original seal will scratch the floor. I had mine replaced for the cost of about 5 hours labor.

I did it myself, yes for us it is absolutely worth the effort as we travel with two large dogs. Clean ups are way easy. We used Laminant flooring. No I did not replace any seals. Have not needed to in my other coaches I have redone. I suspect in time I will scratch the floor, but it is still better than carpet. it is some work, but the hardest part is actually getting up and down off the floor, I have pretty bad artheritis.

Very nice. B Kane- the slide seals are a permanent item and do not move- except the ones on the walls. Scratches? YUP- everything will scratch, not if - When.
