flooring problem

[Rusty years]

Had new flooring put in, planked vinyl in our holiday rambler endeavor, in whole thing including bedroom. Had it done last September, 2012, we have 4 slides. Bedroom perfect, however in living area, on drivers side, where couch and dinette are, when slide comes in it is scratching floor. It never did it for at least 6 or more months and now we see it happening and it will ruin the floor. Alliance said we should never adjust the slide because it is working just fine. Our old floor was tile and it had a black mark where the slide came across. Because this flooring is much lower than the tile I figured there would not be a problem. Any ideas.

You can lift the front floor section of the slide enough to see what is hanging down. I use a piece of wood and a lever bar. If it is a screw or nail just take a cutoff saw or small rotary dremal and shave it down

I understand that the rollers can go bad and might need replacing. Do as said lift it up and take a look, you should be able to see see and check the rollers. Jim
