You get the "Cash" price plus $.01 per gallon. Usually works out to $.06 per gallon.

With a 45' coach AND a toad, I always use the truck island, thanks in part to the aforementioned "idiotic" manner in which most of the RV islands are placed in the lot.

As long as you fuel and then PULL FORWARD afterwards, the truckers will be fine...I've NEVER had an issue with the truckers.
Pulling forward while you go inside allows the next vehicle in line to pull into position and start fueling as soon as the pump is cleared.

Obviously, if you pay by J card and a credit card, you don't need to go in unless you want a receipt.

I haven't been able to use my FJ RV card and credit card at the truck diesel pumps at FJ's in the east (PA and SC) - always have to call in on the island phone or go inside to show the credit card and get pump turned on. The pump reader will accept my FJ RV card but sliding my credit card doesn't unlock the pump. Either does nothing or says to see cashier. Cashier at one FJ told me that only the FJ commercial fueler card would work at the truck pumps. Guess I'll just keep on trying at other FJs and maybe find ones like some of you report using. Sure would be convenient.

The RV card + credit card has worked for me at the RV island pumps.

This is directly from the Flying J site on use of the RV RealValue Card.

"How do you receive your discounts?

R.V. RealValue discounts are processed automatically to ensure accuracy and credibility. To receive these discounts, Real Value customers must adhere to the following procedures*.
For faster service, use Flying J's automated Express Pay Cardreader system at the fuel island!
If paying by cash:
1. Insert your Real Value card into the cardreader
before fueling
2. Pump your fuel
3. Pay cashier at the fuel desk
If paying by credit card:
1. Insert your Real Value card into the cardreader
before fueling
2. Insert your credit card when prompted
3. Pump your fuel
4. At most locations receive fuel receipt from cashier
Your discount will be processed automatically.
If not using Flying J's automated Express Pay Cardreader system simply present your Real Value card to the fuel desk cashier at the point of purchase.

* Remember, this Real Value discount system is fully automated. Failure to insert your Real Value card into the cardreader before pumping your fuel at the fuel island; or failure to present your Real Value card to the fuel desk cashier when not using the cardreader will result in forfeiture of your Real Value discount(s) for that transaction. Discounts will be granted unless prohibited by law.

PLEASE NOTE: Current R.V. RealValue members need not re-apply. All new benefits of the Real Value Club are automatically applied to your current card."

Cashier is wrong. I've used my RV card at every Flying J truck pump I've been to with no problems.
