Heading to Madison WI. we are planning on stopping overnight at the Flying J 1720 W Thompson Rd, Indianapolis, IN Can anybody give me a heads up on this stop!

Don't know that FJ in particular, but Google Maps and Street View show some good pics.

Looks to be roomy but no overly big. There is designated RV parking to the right of the car pumps (you can see the sign on the Street View picture).

This is an old FJ with lots of truck traffic and a very busy intersection. Consider the newer FJ a little south at Whiteland. Exit #95 on I-65

I live 50 miles from that FJ. It has about 5 RV parking slots that are easy access. Yes there is a LOT of truck traffic, but the RV slots are on the opposite side of(the building)for truck parking. I agree, an internet mapping service will show you the layout.
Getting to the FJ is somewhat tricky from Westbound 465, that intersection is always very congested, access to FJ is from the extreme Westward lane of IN 37; that should also be checked out on a mapping service.
An aside; if you need an oil change while there, a Speedco is on the East side of IN 37 at the same stoplight where you turn to get to FJ.
