Depending on the tire the FET is about $50.00 and is not included in the charts.

The Michelin chart price for NAFA shown in this thread is outdated. There was a price increase in June or July. If the deal from FMCA is only 46% then there is no "Advantage" as the Advantage deal should be 56% of NAFA. So which is it 46 or 56? And where is the current price list?

The discount only helps if you are in a hi priced area, our 255-80-22.5 were 500 out the door so cheaper than the discount.

corn-fused

The more I read here the more I don't know. Is the (in my case for xza2/275/70R22.5...18ply) price, $453.86 + 25.23 fet + mounting and balancing. I got a price of $687 out the door complete. This is sounding better as I read and it is local.

Beabop your tires are about $50 each more expensive than the discount price which includes FET.

Mak1 I show yours on the discount sheet around $444 which includes FET.

I was quoted $464.99 on 245/70R19.5 XZE load level H. Can discount from FMCA bet that price?

Here's your answer. Seems to be about $352.08 each plus tax/mounting. A lot of folks seem to be saving $75-100 per tire plus you benefit from joining FMCA.

I got an estimate from the closest participating dealer and he told me the discount was 10%. That was a little higher price than my local dealer quoted me without the discount.

We bought 2 tires(Michelin 235/80/22.5 XRVs) just before last summer's trip from Sam's Club...$321.48ea. and $19.35 tx ea.. Had them mounted at a local truck tire company with computer balancing and new valve stems for $28/$26/$6 each respectfully. I'm sure there has been an increase since then but it's worth checking out Sam's prices on Michelins...they are special order - about six days and they were less than 2 months from manufacture. Bob

Tires ain't pretty!

Thing I don't understand about Michelin tire pricing is they raised their prices between 08/11 -10/11 (using the FMCA price sheets). During that same time period both Rubber + Oil prices dropped. Go figure!

IMHO this dealer either was totally uninformed or simply didn't want your business. The discount per tire is on the order of 20% not, 10%. As has been said elsewhere here it works out to about $100 below the best price you can buy locally. I bought my six tires using the Monaco International discount which is even slightly better than the FMCA discount. Believe me, the price I paid was significantly less than the best local price I could find. In addition, the mounting and balancing charges are pre-negotiated and are usually lower than dealers will charge retail customers.

The bottom line--if you can beat the published Michelin list price by more than $100, go for it. But don't confuse other people by mis-stating the magnitude of the FMCA discount. It is a great deal for most people.
