We should be there. A short drive from Atlanta and new to the east coast…a long time westerner moved east. Still exploring Georgia so it would give us a good excuse to get the rig out after the Quartzsite gathering and bringing the rig east.

We will be there with our FMCA chapter. We will be some of the ones driving the golf carts helping the disabled get around.

Since this is our first Rally, can anyone that has been to one give us an idea what to expect? We were planning on leaving our toad home. Will there be any meals served at the rally? Do they have concession type stands where we could buy sandwiches, etc? Do most that attend go off site for meals? If so, we may need to rethink bringing the toad.
Thanks in advance!

I have offered to give two seminars on tires and three on Genealogy at Perry as I have done at past FMCA Int'l conventions. Am still waiting for FMCA to confirm they want me to speak.
Will post on this forum if/when they contact me.

We will be there. Will be at Monaco pre rally. Our first Monaco rally. Fourth FMCA at Perry. Then ten days in Ft Wilderness. We have enjoyed all of the Perry rallies. Food at the fair grounds is limited. From what i remember mostly fast food. Hamburgers and bbq and other snack food. We eat off site some, but mostly in coach.

There will be many concession stands offering many types of food. There is also a restaurant on the grounds with full service meals.
Have been to Perry many times and have yet to go off site for any meals. As a group we normally plan breakfast and dinner. If you want to be with another couple or group arrange to meet in the holding area until everybody has arrived and them move as a group to be parked.
Electric is your choice, we normally work off the generator.
