Fogged Side Windows
Has anyone had their side fogged windows repaired in Ohio. My Driver Side Window is fogged and needs repaired. Looking for someone to remove from Motorhome, repair and properly reinstall.

If you are handy you can fix them yourself. Here's what I did after doing lots of research on IRV2 and the Internet.

Thanks for all of the information in the attachment. I hesitate doing my own since it is a large Drivers Side Window that has a large fixed glass and a slider on the bottom. The fixed glass is the one that has fogged. I was quoted $2100 for a new window.

If you need an excuse for a road trip, consider Suncoast Designers in Florida. We had the double pane driver and passenger side windows rebuilt there a few years back. Cost was around $750, including sliders, and they have on-site camping. Suncoast Designers | RV Window Repair Specialists in Hudson, FL
Note. If you go, avoid the snowbird migration to and from Florida. I'm told they tend to have window repairs done at this time resulting in long wait times.

Another option is RV Fog DR. They are located in Searcy, AK.
Have a nice day - Darrel

Had 5 windows done in Hudson in June of 15. Can't beat the service. Arrived and hooked up Tuesday at 5pm, they started pulling the windows at 6am and had them back in by 3pm. Finished all the sealing the next morning, I pulled out at 10am. Cost, $275 each.
Great bunch of guys who know what they're doing. Whomever said it above was right, avoid the Snowbird rush and call ahead. They have room for about 25 rigs with hook ups for about a dozen as I recall, and use every one of them in season; Suncoast Designers | RV Window Repair Specialists in Hudson, FL

totally agree, just had 2 windows done (under $600) in 1 1/2 days on site. Great workers! If they can polish glass it is cheaper than replacing the glass--if you wait too long the spots will etch glass and polishing won't work.

Used the doctor to clear up my driver's slider a couple of years ago. Highly recommend them.
