I've been intending to fix mine for 2yrs now.
We've moved to Fl, and happen to be about 15mi from Suncoast Designers.
Coach goes in next Friday
I just don't have the time right now, and what time I DO have, I have other things to do.

Jim,

One thing it does take his time. I just got my first one put back in today as I've been sick for about three weeks with bronchitis. It went back in good but as I said it does take some time. Good luck on yours.

Thanks,

Alan

We have an '05 Providence. I was able to repair two of the smaller windows. I am ready to remove the larger windows, but do not see how to remove the blinds and valance. Please help before I tear something up!!

Does anyone know of a YouTube video on how to fix these windows?

Pjb,
If like mine there will be screws attaching the valence thingies straight up throughout the top (3 of them). You will have to look up on the inside of the valence. Next there will be 1 screw on each side on the bottom "legs" of the valences.

Good luck!
Chris

Found the three screws holding the blind to the frame. Was then able to remove the window leaving the valance in place. The glass in this window is etched so both will be replaced with new, one clear, one gray. Cost will be around 550 bucks. *#$*

I am wondering if anyone has tried Maguires cleaner polish to remove the etching. I watched a video where a guy used it to remove scratches in an older windshield. I have used vinegar and a multitude of other products to remove the etching and I have almost all of it removed but I am trying to get rid of the last little bit of etching.

I was scared on the first one but I wouldn't hesitate a bit on the next one. DO NOT wait too long. I have two that I just cannot get cleaned up. I have all the materials to fix them but the lime inside will not come off. Alas I am not into new glass to the tune of $435.00 and I still have to reinstall the window!! Kind of a bummer when you can buy all the stuff you need to do four windows for about $125.00. It does take a few too,s and forearms like Popeye but it can be da one with a little patience and persistence. 😉

I just bought this coach. I bet the driver's window has been this way for years. It's horrible. I honestly doubt it's fixable now that you mention it.

I am assuming every one is talking about windows with the frame. Has anyone ever done the frameless windows with any success?

If it's that bad you're probably right. Buy new glass for it. You can remove the frame yourself and install it when done just be sure you have plastic to cover the opening.

I am not sure at all as I don't know but I guess I assumed frameless windows were single pane.

Mine are for sure double pane. They are fogged. This winter I am going to give them a try and see if I can separate them and reseal.
