Foggy Toll Booth Windows

I know this has been an issue with Winnebago and Itasca units in the past. I have a 2000 Winnebago Adventurer with foggy toll booth windows. I would like to know if it's an impossible task to remove the windows and take them to local window shop and have them sealed properly.
I've seen other units about the same year with the same issue. I would be willing to remove and replace them if the task isn't too difficult. I don't care to pay the high priced labor if I can do things myself.

By the way, some people have 'fixed' the problem by breaking the inner glass with a punch and hammer, sweeping up the glass 'nuggets' and driving on.

I just got back from Duncan in Elkhart In.they take the window or windows out and clean them and put them back in.I have a 03 Winnebago.just google foggy window repair or window repair,there is a few places around the US that does this and the cost is not bad.

The guy-Shop- that works on my rig just takes the window out and replaces it with tempered glass of the same thickness. If I remember right because it's been about 4 years since I talked to him about that problem

You can get a complete kit to fix your windows from David Root Rv Glass repair. I have just finished doing one of my windows in my slide and it came out fantastic. He supplies everything to do the job and very detailed instructions. The cost to have them done usually cost around $200. per window if you take them somewhere. It can add up quickly. Good luck on your solution.

It is the main window at a toll booth where sales and fair collections occur.

May be the slider window you open to pay your toll at a toll booth.
Used if you don't have a E-Zpass/Sun pass or cameras not in use
