any ideas where i can find a ac/heater control for a 1990 fleetwood flair built on a ford e350?

I would try RV salvage yards. Use the search window located at the top of the page to get names of yards.

Or take the control to the auto parts store and see if they can match it up with something.

is there a repair manual anywhere specific to motorhomes?

You should be able to find a Ford service manual for the E350 chassis but nothing for the coach itself. All other manuals will be for the individual systems and appliances (fridge, furnace, etc.).

As for the AC/Heater controls, Fleetwood MAY have used standard Ford controls. Take a look at the dash of an older E350 van. If they look the same, BINGO!
