We have three of the 5.4s in our family that use the same type coil as the v10s so I know how pricey they can be at Ford.
Last summer I replaced one on my truck and one on my sons truck. I ordered three from E-bay for $9.99 each.

So far the coils have worked excellent and I have a spare on the shelf.

Found this one for the V-10
