Ford V-10 Engine Programmer Info?

We purchased a used 2016 Thor Miramar 34.1 in January. Took it out last weekend for this first camping trip. The transmission seems to take forever to shift, even on a straight road with a tailwind! Someone mentioned to us that an engine programmer might help resolve that issue. Has anyone used this and if so, how did it work out. Thanks.

Try 5 Star Tuning. I am told it reprograms the on board computer to fix the issue. It's on my list when I go North on my return trip to MA.

Definitely Five Star Tune. Installed mine this year and love it. 2014 Coachman Mirada 32' with V-10. Drives so much better. If you are mechanical at all you can plug this device in and follow the directions. Takes about 30 min. and backs up your original program so you can restore if necessary. Search this site for a group buy. Might save you some $. Hope this helps.

Rather than retyping my experiences with a 5 star tune check this thread:

After reading every post on the thread mentioned that was the first "mod" we did when I got our new-to-us coach home. I drove it today for the first time. When I gave it my first bit of throttle I could tell there was more power!!!

Much appreciate to everyone for the kind words! We do offer quite a discount for forum members.

Shortcut to the tuner is: Ford IRV2 Group Buy with The 5 Star Tune - 5 Star Tuning

Any questions on any of our offerings let us know!

You guys totally rock! We ordered the unit today! Thanks too for letting us know about the irv2 member discount. That saved us a chunk a change. Can't wait to update this post on how it works for us as we head out to the Worm Gruntin' Festival in Sopchoppy, FL next week.

Does the 5 Star Tune-up affect any warrantees? I have a 2015 Winnebago Vista 30T.

"MsFrankie".....The 5 Star tuner is a great addition. My neighbor is very finicky and added it to his coach. Quite a difference in performance and especially when towing.
