Forest River Georgetown

Just bought a Georgetown by Forest River. Anyone have any comments, good or bad? Is there anything that we should keep our eye on? Hope we made a good decision!

What year and size? We have an '02 325S which we bought last July. Four trips and 19 days travelling and we're fairly pleased with it. It's docked until about the end of March now.

Ours is on the 22,000 lb F53 chassis with the V-10. It has living room and bedroom slide-outs.

The original owners took very good care of it. They sold it for medical reasons and priced it very competitively. We think we got a good deal and they were satisfied to get enough out of it for their purposes.

We've had a few minor issues, but no show stoppers. We're getting a bit better than 7 mpg, and we climb a lot of hills out here. That's 2 mpg better than our old 26' Class C.

It looks to be quite well built - a Ford rather than a Lincoln, but the furniture seems well made and the systems are all working fine.

It is a 2011, 374TS. It has 3 slides, two in living room and 1 in bedroom. Our first trip is scheduled for March 26. We can't wait. So glad to hear you are happy with yours.

We bought our Georgetown new in 2003 and have been VERY happy with it. Some minor propblems in the first year which the dealer easily took care of. WE love our GT and since we bought ours we know many friends that have purchased them as well. Supposedly the best selling gas MH in the last couple of years.( On Lazy Days site info)
We would happily buy another.

We have the Georgetown XL 2008 378 model and are well pleased with it. we also think Forest River makes a good motor home. Ours has been to the west coast and back with no problems. Some minor issues at first, but FR took care of them. We spend the winters in Florida so it gets used all the time. Our V10 gets about the same millage towing a Escape.
