Question Fresh Water storage

I own a 2010 FR Charleston. Cannot locate the info on the size of the fresh water tank. Also, I need to sanitize the tank, but owners manual not clear on how to add the sanitizing solution to the fresh water tank. Any help appreciated.

Some suggest that you use your free standing water filter, by removing the element, add the bleach, close the top, and then hook up the hose to run into the tank. Way easier than the funnel and standing on top of the picnic table, or trying to pour it into the hose before hooking up to the rv, or the park hose bib.

For size, maybe you can measure the width, length, and height?

I use the free standing filter and it works great. Does a part of the hose between the filter and MH at the same time.

The need to sanitize a water tank comes from not draining and flushing the tank regularly.
The capacity of a water tank can be measured by draining the water into gallon buckets.
Formula: Use 1/4 cup bleach for every 15 gallons of water.

Fresh water storage

Thanks to those responding. I bought the unit from an individual, and I don't think he ever used the on board tank. My water filter is mounted, but I guess I could buy a free standing container and use it.

If you have the brochure, that should have the tank capacities. I can find 2008 and 2014 brochures, both list fresh water at 86 gallons. I would put the sani solution in the hose to get it into the tank if you don't have a gravity fill, but bypass the filter.
