I wish I had room for the Samsung 197 but I will need to go with a 2 door unit for my old Dometic. It still works OK but I would much taher have a good quality residential unit. We are on a 2 week trip now and after 2 1/2 days with the Dometic on the refrigerator portion is finally up to the normal cooling temp. The freezer only took about a day to get to freezing temp. A residential unit would be cooling and freezing in a short time.

I have my coach at Classic Coach Works in Lakeland, Fl right now having a Samsung put in to replace my 12 year old Norcold 1201. I will let everyone know how it goes.

Well, I know Indiana isn't that far east but Indiana Interstate in Lagrange, IN does these frig changeouts. Paul Cross used to work for Drv that manufactures 5th wheels. Those that have had it done really like his work.

Our Dometic 1350 has had the cooling unit and seals replaced, to no effect. It still runs 38-40 inside, what a piece of cr**.

How about San Antonio TX?

Iron Horse RV

I would have had mine done there but the extra cost of fuel to get there from Florida would have offset the savings so I had mine done in Scott LA.
