Our S&B is in a waving development. Everyone waves all the time. Even the kids at the school bus stops!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Maybe this is an old topic on the forum, but I think it is great! We also have corvettes and are used to waving at other corvettes. I have been waving at other MH but never got a response. So I thought maybe this was just a corvette thing. Glad to know I am wrong! I am going to keep on waving. I love it!

Have faith! Just keep waving! Im so use to it especially on the motorcycle. By the end of the day it was just two fingers of the end of the handlebar. I get it in the corvette too. Im going to keep trying in the motorhome but my kids think I'm a retard when I start waving like crazy!

I practice the flash and wave methods myself. Seems like our fellow RVers wave back most of the time. It may sound snobbish, when I had a travel trailer, I'd wave to them, next my 5er, same. Now, I wave to coaches more often than not. It just seems like people relate to people with the same type of equipment. Just an odd thought that ran though my mind.

Sunset4K - I was probably at least a couple hundred miles north of I90 on Hwy 83 when I got that wave. Somewhere not far south of Selby but well north of Pierre.
Omg, 83 runs a long way then!!! Loved visiting SD tho...

We have a Wrangler, so the wave thing is SOP, and enjoyed. The extension of the wave to RV'ers just seemed normal. I would say that my response rate is not anywhere near 50%. But when the wave is returned, it puts a smile on my face.

I have my Jeep Wrangler and ride my bikes, my left arm gets tired of waving. Unless I see another coach on some deserted highway, I give my arm a break.

This is a timely thread for me. A couple of weeks ago my wife and I and kids rented a RV for a 14 day roadtrip down the East Coast for a week at Ft. Wilderness at Disney and then another several days back up the Shenandoah Valley towards home. This was our first RV'ing experience and test into the lifestyle. I waved at every possible RV I passed, of course admiring whatever the coach or trailer was. Over 14 days I think I had one other person wave back!

I think people on the east coast are just grumpy. In Michigan I get about a 70% return. On one ocasion both front seat passengers and all the kids in the windows were waving and laughing. Obviously happy campers.
