Front grill on DP's?

I have a 1998 GEORGIE BOY CRUISE MASTER 3590 diesel pusher. My question is why does this RV have a open grill in the front? Engine is in the back. The open grill doesn't seem to be there for anything besides look? Has anyone blocked off their front grill to help with aerodynamics?

Probably used generic parts fit more than one model.

I would guess your cabin air vent intakes are in that black hole. Either way, I don't know that having a solid front would help with aerodynamics unless it were more pointed.

My generator is located up front and it allows better air flow around the generator
