There is a leak in the front passenger side and I have a loose inside bracket. Is it dangerous for me to drive it in this condition? Is this something I must fix before getting home. Any suggestions or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

If you're talking about the leveling jacks, other than coating the bottom of the RV with hydraulic fluid, it shouldn't be a safety issue. With the leveling system off, minimum fluid should continue to leak out.

I have no idea about a "loose inside bracket." Inside the RV, inside a compartment, please be more specific or post a photo.

Thank you for your response, The cylinder inside mounting bracket of hydraulic lift moves that is leaking. The other three are solid.

Who is the manufacturer of the leveling jacks? If you use Google you'll likely find a manual, perhaps even a tech manual for your system.

If its loose, it its possible it could fall off, Take whatever steps you need to make sure it doesn't fall off.

More information and a photo or two would be nice.

What brand jack is it?

Does this jack have an external spring?

Is the spring broke?

Is a weld broke on the jack?

Is a weld broke on the chassis?

Are mounting bolts loose or missing?

Is the hose connector loose or damaged?

Can't find model name or number. Springs aren't broken. Went to owners manual couldn't find anything. It is a 2005 Winnebago Adventure with 8.2 workhorse chassis.

Perhaps there is a name on the jack control panel. Again, Its very difficult to provide a valid opinion without additional information.

With the information provided so far, I can envision scenarios where this could be very, very dangerous to you, your vehicle, and others.

phil, can you see where the leak is coming from. is it from the top of the cylinder?
is it a hose fitting? or is it at the bottom of the cylinder. either one isnt very dangerous to drive with. can you tighten the fitting?
what is loose on the mounting bracket? can you tighten the bolts? the cylinders do pivot inside the main housing. a service manual would answer a lot of your questions.
look at the touch panel. it should have the mfg name on it, like hwh hydraulic leveling, or power gear.
