When we went to an RV show about a month or so ago we went thru quite a few makes and models of DP's. The ones with the kitchen right behind the front seats with the fridge right behind the driver's seat just seemed very tight and not much room. Both Thom and I thought that so all those with that layout is out for us. I am sure others like that layout thou.
Just like all the Newmars that we went into just made us cross off Newmar from our list completely. Reason was the shower bowed right into the walkway so that if someone was getting ready to go out and trying to put on makeup while someone wanted to get by or use the shower was very tight and so made it unusable for us, I am sure others love their Newmars.
That's why they make different layouts, everyone has their favorite and not everyone likes the same things in the same place.

seem like the front kitchen would be nice you would enter the kitchen right away with grocery and supplies.

We both don't care for the front kitchens. Who wants your guests having to traps thru the kitchen to get to the living room. They also seem to make the living room look smaller due to not having the front windshield as a living room window.

With just my wife and I and a mid-kitchen now, the next one will be a front kitchen(kitchen close to the door) to make it easier for cooking out(food in and out when eating outside like we always do) and the living room (mid) so she can watch tv as loud as she wants while I am driving as our tv is up front now.

The only opinion that counts is the wife's. Nuff said.

We have had both and prefer the mid kitchen. With the living area up front the drivers seat and passenger seat, when turned around, become part of the living room. Makes it seem larger with a big picture window. We can seat seven comfortably without bringing up the dinning chairs.

Here is the Newmar line-up for all to chose mid or front.

That is one of the things my wife loved most about our 38ft allegro bus. There is a sink in the bedroom. She can put on makeup while I am taking a shower or using the facilities and not have to worry about being disturbed or having to let me squeeze by

I bought the 2008 allegro bus especially because it has the front kitchen and the fridge goes out with the slide so tons of room.we prefer the mid living room as the TV is at eye level and not having to look up at front TV.plus when bringing grocerys its right there etc.
