Thanks for posting loulong,
I am quite interested in regards to the front air bag install, as I have the same chassis as you. Did you do all three upgrades at once?
I have rear bags but am considering installation of front bags to restore ride height and improve ride. I really don't have much of a problem with ride quality since I installed the Koni's up front, but would like the front end to ride at the same height as the rear. I have the slightest amount of steering correction needed at freeway speeds, not bad but would love to be able to just point the MH in one direction and have it go straight for 15 seconds or so. Was this one of the concerns you were trying to resolve?

Yes, I did all three upgrades at the same time.

The Steer Safe was installed because I had a bad experience last year with an uncontrollable vibration after hitting a very rough bridge approach.

A front end alignment and inspection may have been enough, but i feel better with the added insurance.

My OEM shocks were in better condition than I anticipated, but I'm still satisfied with the new Monroe's.

The bags raised my front end almost 3 inches (@20 lbs) and made a huge improvement when hitting expansion joints at 60/65 mph.

All that being said, don't expect the rig to "drive like a Cadillac" as some have stated, but the improvements will be significant.

Went ahead and ordered the front bags from Streetside. As we are embarking on a 6000 mile trip to the Canyons thought I'd just do it now. I've got a front license plate and thinking of removing the screws and attaching the fill valves there. Any thoughts? Also when installing was it necessary to jack the front end at all.

I installed my front air bags without jacking up the front end. Took less than 2 hours start to finish. Was very simple compared to the rear bags. On my MH there is a crossmember/front bumper accessable when the hood is open. I drilled a couple of holes in the top of the crossmember to mount the air fittings. I just have to open the hood to check the air pressure and they are protected and easy to access. I think the front license plate area is too exposed to road debris.

Have the front bags installed and inflated to 24#, first ride okay some change. I deflated to about 20# and seemed a little better. I'm sure the interstate will be the test. When I first inflated the hand pump the chassis rose a little , however the PSI was over 30#. Should the chassis be supported by the bags or is the 20 to 25# range my target. Just a note for others I prepped the airbags per instructions which had the fill valve pointing to the front bumper, however on my rig there where some nuts in the way so I remounted at a 90 degree angle. They also shorted the bolts for the top brackets, they shipped the nuts but no bolts. I had some laying around which wasn't an issue. My biggest delay was drilling the top hole. Thanks to all for your input.
