Avoid gravel roads?

To the best of my knowledge, federal and most state safety regs prohibit putting anything over the windshield glass.

Exercise common sense. Keep a big distance between yourself and the vehicle ahead of you. Don't drive in sand/wind storms, park with the back of the RV facing the wind, and cover your windshield when parked.

Come on now, I cannot avoid gravel roads unless I am only going to camp at Walmart! Here is a product I have been following, just need SOMEBODY to try it out 1st!

See what you think. BTW, my local glass guy will repair any small chips for free, as long as I can get it to him before the dreaded cracks start to spider-web everywhere. Good luck!

I have learned to watch for trucks entering the highway from gravel side roads. they will spit out all the stones caught in their treads as they get up to speed. Avoid getting near to them during that time. If they are meeting you, pull as far right as possible.
