I wish our coach was 60 feet long and got 20MPG.
Well, might as well dream.

2003 Sightseer. General maintenance since we purchased it, which should be expected.

No real disappointments,, other than the fact we don't go camping every day.
The coach is 15 years old and has sit for the last 2 or 3 years so I expected some maintenance issues and repairs.
So far love traveling in it and camping.
Oh yeah my 90 Year old mother loves it and loves to travel in it. I am glad we purchased before her health prevents her from traveling.

Own a 2002 Monaco Windsor, bought it used in 2008. It's a great coach and we've had minimal problems but the one thing that is a disappointment is the One Touch Care Free Awning. Wind caught it in Perry Ga ~ 4 years ago and damaged the arm, I was able to straighten but we are so paranoid of the wind catching it again we don't use it as much we did our last Class C awning which was virtually indestructible.

The Banks Power Pak makes a huge difference but they no longer make it. Hope the Otto Mind (Banks black box) never goes out as it's irreplaceable!

Countryfit; All LED televisions operate from a 12VDC power source internally. Just take it to a TV repair shop and have them wire-in a 12VDC power jack.

oh, that will be very cool. when i was working on hdtv update, i searched and compared, samsung f5500 series 32" was really standing out in video and sound quality. i was aware of jensen 12v at the time but its quality and style were miles behind. ever since got the samsung installed, while enjoyed it, every time i had to turn on the inverter which drew the juice sharply. i'll call rv repair shops, if they can mod it to run on 12v, i will be a happy bird.

I love my '01 Tradewinds LTC,but even after having a very careful inspection done by a tech I have a lot of respect for, a whole bunch of things went wrong after we bought it. The biggest frustration was that the service contract that I found covered everything but the fridge, so I took the advice of a number of folks here and on RV.net and put the $3K in the bank and after about 7 months,I had spent that and another $4K on repairs that would have been covered totally. Oh and there was never a problem with the fridge. Sholdn't have listened and bought the warranty. I did buy one this summer and the other day,I was working in the yard and went to the MH for a beer and decided that drinking an 80 degree beer wasn't gonna taste too good. Ran a bunch of tests to no avail and took it to the shop where they found the cooling unit was bad. Thanks to my Cornerstone warranty,it was 100% covered with only a $100 ded.
The Tradewinds has an oversize passenger seat and both the DW and the dawg love that. Love the full width closet in the bedroom and the splendide washer and 14 cubic foot fridge. The best thing is the single seat reading room that's large enuff to turn around in and not have your knees touching the wall.

That I can't get the maneuverability and economy of a Class B and the comfort and ride of a 40' Class A all in the same coach. A lot of weekends I wish I had the B, but when we go out for weeks I sure like having the DP A.

We love our Motorhome and are very happy we did the research we did as it gave us peace of mind that we made the right decision for our needs. So, so far we don't really have any frustrations or disappointments.
If there is anything we are frustrated with is the condition of some of the RV parks vs what they advertise or how they are rated by AAA, Good Sam, Woodall ect. Even their on-line photos are not what you really find when you get there. We have spent some days just going to see the RV parks in our car before actually making reservations, some parks have been so bad that I don't really know how, why , or who would give them a good rating. Checking them out ahead of time is hard to do though if you are traveling a long distance, and you just have to take your chances sometimes, which to me is frustrating as well as disappointing that they get away with it(at least one time). With that said we have found some diamonds in the rough and have had great times in those parks.

The cost of gas is what I don't like and the cost of storing it when not in use.

Frustrated It's sat in the drive since the end of Aug. Disappointed I didn't buy a DP sooner.
