Cool Fuel line replacement for 1996 Dolphin HELP!

I have a leak in my fuel line at the top where you put in the fuel. I would like to just insert a smaller line to the tank. You can't follow it because of the water intake bin below it. The problem is that I can't find a schematic of the angle of the line to the tank. Does anyone know if it goes straight to the tank or if there are bends and curves. Or even if there is an inline fuel filter that I have to worry about? Thank you for any help. I am "grounded" until I get this solved. "munchkinmgd"

Glad you're aboard. Need more info. What chassis manufacturer, model, engine size, length of Dolphin. You could add your coach info to your signature, Then it comes up everytime you post. To do that click on the "User CP", scroll down to "Edit SIgnature", Type in the info and scroll to the bottom of the page and click "Save". Best of luck on a solution. Enjoy your adventures and be safe.

Dolphin info.

I had to dig out what manuels I was given. It is a Ford chassis, gas engine 7.5L, V-8 EFI. I think it is a 454 CID. Dolphin Model 534G 35'8". I hope this helps. I will add it to my page as soon as I can. Thank you again.

Welcome to iRV2. Your engine is a 460 CID. Sounds like your talking about the fuel filler line. If it is, it's similar to my 99 F53 and has the filler at the rear of the coach. If that's what you have, there's probably is two pieces of hose. One just past the filler port and the other where the line connects to the tank. There is a 90° turn just before where it connects to the tank. I really doubt you would be able to push a hose down the line to the tank. If the one that is leaking is the one near the filler port is easy to get at to change. If it is the one at the tank it's a little harder to get to but is do able. If you know someone the handy with stuff like that, you can get the fuel hose at NAPA and some other auto parts stores.

BTW, you may want to join the National RV owners forum and the Ford Chassis owners forum. You can get a lot of help for both the coach and chassis on those forums.
