Fuel pump

I have a 1988/99 Holiday Rambler Imperial 35 ft. gas motor home on a John Deere frame with a Ford 460 engine. I need to install a new fuel pump but need to know where to look for it. Does anyone know where it is located? Is it in the tank, on the frame, or on the side of the engine? Are there more than one? Any help will be appreciate.

Ford fuel systems of that vintage would have the pump in the fuel tank, and if JD bought the engine ( trans?) from Ford they may have got the fuel tank too.
If the engine runs you could get under the tank and listen for the pump humming.

I have heard of some people, putting an external fuel pump on.
You should perform a web search on 96 ford fuel pump or similar
