I was just looking up this info for my rig but decided not to replace the pump as preventive maintenance because I already have an updated fuel pump. Ford updated the trouble prone f53 fuel pumps during production in appx 11-96 to a new style turbine pump. A jumper wire harness kit will be required to install the updated pump. Be prepared to spend appx $400.00 from a dealer. The Ford part numbers are as follows;

F6PZ-9H307-DA Fuel Pump And Sender Assembly
F7PZ-9A213-BA Jumper Harness Kit (Vehicles Built Before 11/26/96 - 3 Wire)
F7PZ-9A213-CA Jumper Harness Kit (Vehicles Built After 11/26/96 - 4 Wire)
F5AZ-14A099-AA Heat Shrink Tubing

From what I understand Delphi is the vendor for this pump and it is available in the after market for around $300.00

Delphi fuel pump $134.95 at NPA auto parts for F 53 super duty 1995 as is needed for Holiday Rambler ford chassis I have .Same over heat problem at 1/2 tank gas sputters backfired loss of fuel pressure .Fast pumping of gas petal got me off road. Next day cooler and ran fine. Noticed power loss on hills after 3.5 hours driving. Pump needs to go.Mechanics locally will not advice any other fuel pump based on experience of failures multiply vehicles.
