I have a 1993 Fleetwood Southwind motorhome with a bad fuel pump relay we cannot fine the location of fuel pump relay. Does anyone know where is is located ?

Hi Steve,
I think I can tell you where the fuel pump relay is. Remove the dog house (cowl) way back so you can lay down on the breather. It is on the left side up front mounted on the left part of the firewall. When you are driving, the relay would be right beside your right foot. There are two relays side by side. You might reach around with your hand and find them. You can unplug them without removing the relays. With it unplugged, plug your new one in with out mounting it just to try it. I think the fuel pump relay is the one nearer the front.
A flashlight could help a lot.

Thank you replaced fuel pump relay and started up but now when gets to operating temp won't start. Let it cool down and starts right up. Tach is a little jumpie I think I now have a problem with the primary side of the ignition need to do a little checking and see if the coil wire is leaking voltage or is one of the pickup coils in dist. is going bad.

Well, this Probably won't help. But, I'll tell you anyhow.
A long time ago my Pa had a 1955 F100 Ford pick up with a 1956 Mercury engine. Every morning when he tried to crank the truck, it would wind and wind and wind, that is, turn over but never start up. We would push it just a short way and it would fire up and run like a scalded dog. It would crank the rest of the day with no problem.
He gave up and took it to the auto electric shop. They discovered the battery had been charged up backwards. Well, that's what they said.
Whether this has any thing to do with it or not, I don't know. But, I think a 1955 Ford pick up had a positive ground system. The ground cable had to be connected to the positive post of the battery.

If you suspect the secondary wires to the spark plugs one simple test will confirm problems with the wiring... take a spray bottle with some water in it.... pull the engine cover off and when its dark out... start the engine and give the wiring a little spray of water... look for a blue glow... it's the high voltage looking for an easier path to ground instead of going through the distributor...

I'm a little rusty but if you have an HEI system... for years they had issues with high voltage burning a hole through the rotor when there was a plug that wouldn't fire...
