Full Body Paint Job

I've made an appointment With Mike's Custom Painting in Bremen, Indiana to get a full body paint on my coach. Anyone have experience with this company and their quality. They seem very nice.

Thanks,

Wendell

Precision Painting in Bremen has 3 excellent reviews on RVServiceReviews, for both painting and service. Mike's Custom Painting doesn't have any. I would only use a shop that has good reviews...if at all possible. At least with some reviews you'll get an idea whether the shop is reputable or not. Without reviews, I would want to call around that town to any RV dealers and ask them what they think of Mike's.

You might call Precision and get a second quote...

Did you know Precision does all the painting of new Entegra coaches? They really are excellent to deal with on custom work.

It's a big job. Ask them for at least 4 recent customers as references. A good shop will be happy to give them to you.

Google the usual review sites (yelp, etc).

Yikes! I would get 3 or 4 quotes. Think that I've been seeing around $8000 for a full body paint job. One place in California was around that I believe.

In Mexico it would probably be $5500.

The full body paint on my Winnebago View listed for about $7500. It's 24ft long so you can extrapolate what it might be for a longer coach.

full body painting

I just spent a week at Precision Painting in Bremen Indiana getting the cross bracing on my 05 Travel Supreme 45 Select. While there I saw their FB paint work and it was absolutely beautiful. All these guys really were informed an experienced with Travel Supreme coaches. Every thing I asked to be fixed was done and I left completely Happy with all repairs thanks to Paul Conley and his staff of profesionals. I would highly recommend them and Precision Painting to all needing work to a TS or any other coach. Jerry Hawkins Charleston S.C.

You could possibly get a full size car painted for that. Most full body motorhome paint processes are three to five different colors. Considering the time to prep the motorhome (probably 2-3 man days just to remove stuff like handles, awnings, locks, etc), lay out the graphics, painting, clearing and then the wet sanding and buffing begins.

Precision had my friends unit 15 days and like I said earlier, it looks fantastic.

$12,000-$15,000 sounds like a fair price to me.
