Full charge on all 3 batteries, no power inside. HELP

I just bought a 1983 Fleetwood Southwind. When I bought it, the gentleman turned on the generator to show that it worked, and while it was running, showed me that everything worked. I got it home, and have started getting ready for my first RV trip and nothing works off of the battery power. Everything works fine off of the gennie, and alternatively, I can get everything but the water heater to work from shore power. Have full charge on all 3 batteries, checked all of the fuses I could find and nothing....also, could not find a cut off switch. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Usually the 'cutoff' switches, or the 'Saleman's' switches are located near the entrance door.

Thumbs up

Solved. Didn't realize the 40 amp fuse was broken. It wasn't fried, it was literally broken from the post.

That is a good feeling when the problem is found and is minor. Now enjoy your camping trip

Welcome to the forum!

Glad your first problem turned out to be a simple one.

As for getting your water heater to work, are you sure it is intended to operate on AC and not just propane?
