Full timing advice in Canada

I'm not sure if I'm off my rocker or if thinking about going full time in a class A is the most brilliant thing I've ever thought of for myself! I love having my own 'place' but also get jittery when I feel tied down to one.

I am starting to look at RV's seriously and have started to make plans to stay in #saskatchewan for the summer and drive to #vancouver for the winter to stay in one of their beautiful year round campgrounds.

Is it as easy as that?

Welcome to iRV2.
You would need a good 4 season coach , because no matter where you go in Canada , you can get winter conditions ; some years way worse than others. Vancouver , The Island , or the Southern Okanagan. All those area can get snow and extended times of freezing weather. Don't let the Chamber of Commerce tell you otherwise.
I'm sure you will find other members here in the forums doing the same thing, and get some first hand advice.

IMO it is extremely doable with the right unit and attitude.

As mentioned you have to consider a unit that is well insulated as you will encounter snow no matter where you are in Canada at some time or other. Best part is the insulation will also keep you cooler in the summer.

All that is left is finding the right unit with the right floor plan for your needs.

We spent the 2005-06 winter in the Victoria, BC area. WestBay and Fort Victoria RV parks. Absolutely no winter camping issues in a 2005 Monaco Dynasty.

We camp all through the winter on Vancouver Island and the only problem we encountered was a snowfall on a mountain pass stopping us from coming back from Tofino for a few days, had to stay and fish, bummer. Nanaimo and south there are lots of places to camp year round and this last winter we never encountered snow or more than a touch of morning frost. Give it a shot, you will love the winters here compared to Flatbush with it's ten months of winter and 2 months poor sledding
edit: ski in the morning and golf or fish in the afternoon
