Furnace CFM

We picked up a new Coachmen Mirada 35BH this week. In running the furnace, it seems the forward duct has very minimal air flow as compared to the rear duct outlets.

What's your experience ?

There is the option for the AC to operate to circulate air (not in cooling mode) but it only runs constantly and not just when the furnace is putting out heat. And, it's LOUD.

Thank you! for your feedback.

You can turn your heatpump - A/C unit on to circulate air but as you have found out, it is either on or off and there is no connection to the furnace system.

For your heat output - look for a crushed or kinked hose that feeds the front air outlet. Another possibility is a poor or separated connection at the furnace itself. You are going to have to do some digging to find the heat hoses that that feed the front. Look under furniture, cabinets, etc.

Ditto what luvlabs said. Your gas heat is a 12 volt system. The heat pumps are a120 volt system and run only when you are plugged into shore power or on generator.

I have the same problem, front vents aren't pushing air like the rear vents are. I bought a close-able vent and replaced the one in the rear bedroom. Helped in balancing the heat distribution.
