Fuse Box

Does anyone know the location of the fuse box for a 1994 Damon Intruder. I found the power distribution box under the hood but cannot find the fuse box. I lost power to my cigarette lighter which is on the same circuit with the automatic retracting stairs. I have looked everywhere with no luck. Now the stairs don’t open or retract.
I am on a 10day trip from Florida to New York.

Thanks,
Pete

What chassis is your RV built on? Most driving functions are handled by the chassis fuse box. If it's not under the hood, check under the dashboard. Many RVs have section of the dash that lifts up and allows access, others you just have to search the space under the dashboard.

Ford Chassis. The manual says Ford Super Duty.

I found it under the dashboard. All fuses checked out. The 12 volt on the dash and step are still not working.

Zman1403-

Look for a Ford Power Distribution Box under the hood. It's usually in the center of the coach, on the firewall. A 1996 F-53 chassis manual (link here), page 152, says the "cigarette lighter" fuse is #1, a 15A fuse.
