Just got a quote today for $528.42 using FCMA in upstate NY, Michelin X 2 Energy 275 70 r22.5. Still shopping. Forgot to ask about the XRV, are they usually cheaper?

Previous tires on this coach were Goodyear G670 RV's - and orginal to the coach, which I bought a few months ago. They had just over 30k on them, were worn evenly, and no cracking. I don't believe the PO rotated them ever. Well past due to be changed out for age of course.

I purchased Michelin XRV's for a previous coach. Seven years and about 20k miles - worn evenly, no cracking, never rotated, and never gave problem one.

Dunno about XRV price vs. X2 Energy. In my shopping for the XRV's, I found the FMCA pricing to be lowest - but not by a lot. Two others were within about $100 out the door. Using FMCA netted a good price and quality dealer.

I just purchased Michelin XZE 255-70R 22.5 tires using Michelin Advantage Program for FMCA. Price for 6 tires mounted and balanced is $3207.00. I am hoping for a better ride than my original equipment Hankook tires gave. Best price I could get for these tires w/o using the advantage program was $3800.00, so it looks like Michelin is giving a discount. Also, the dealer's install price was same as if I purchased tires directly from them (This was a concern I originally had with this program).Toyo tires were about $2950 for six installed and Goodyear G670RV were $4350.00 installed. I found it difficult to compare tire reliability, so I am going to stick with a name brand.
