Gaffney

What a delight Gaffney was for my 1-year service. I had my appointment for today (the 8th). My RV was taken in the service bay by 8:30 and was out around 2:15. They did a great job in going over what was done, etc....and to top it off.....the final bill was over $300 dollars less than what I expected. I was happy, happy, happy !!

Good luck to you, I found their work sloppy and careless. They
failed to properly lubricate the chassis, and ignored several
major problems that would have been covered under warranty.
I've had better experiences elsewhere.

I had the Gaffney Service Center service my coach last year and was very satisfied. The work was done timely and very thoroughly. I am headed back next week to have my second annual maintenance completed and attend the Freightliner class.

macadnphyl, sorry you had such a bad experience. For me, they are money well spent.

I had a great experience with the folks at Gaffney last year. I attended Camp Freightliner and had several scheduled maintenance items taken care of. When they had it up on the lift, they discovered a bent RH lower control arm. They brought me into the service bay and showed me the problem. The arm was clearly bent, probably as a result of someone jacking on it some time in the past. After replacing it, they performed a 4-wheel alignment. The coach drove MUCH better after that work!

I would go back to Gaffney for service any time.

Forget to mention.....they had the Freightliner chassis used in Camp Freightliner classes in the parking area outside the service bays to look at. Found a few things I had wondered about.

The Freightliner class was great. This coming from a non tech female who attended with her husband. Learned some interesting things.

Had two services done on my coach in the last two years and have been very satisfied with Gaffney. You should always tell the service manager what you would like to have inspected or checked during that time besides the regular service.
