Hello everyone, we are new to RVing, We just purchased a 1999 Fleetwood Bounder 36S. Trying to get use to everything and am having a problem with keeping the refrigerator cold while not traveling. I can plug it in to 115V adapter at home and if I leave the Aux power switch on and the main off the ref. will stay on ac. But the problem is my chassis battery in the RV goes dead a well as the 12v batteries for the coach. I'm not sure how to correct this issue. Any help will be appreciated.

First make sure no other loads are on the circuit you are plugging into at the house. A 15 amp circuit is plenty to run the refrigerator and your inverter/charger to maintain your batteries, so don't turn off battery isolation switches. Not sure what you mean by aux power switch. While on shore power, you can run the refrigerator and your converter/charger to maintain house and chassis batteries. In addition, you could power a fan or two but not the air conditioning.
