I post a write up on the Garmin c330 down in the PRODUCT EVALUATION FORUM below doesn't cost as much as the 7500 but has the basic features you will find on the 7500. Has pics and info that may help you with links for some good bargins for all Garmin products that others have posted.

I have this Garmin unit and purchased it because of large screen. I think the 1 thing I dislike the most is the fact that it has no internal battery and has to be in the power cradle to function. My charger cradle was defective from factory and I had to wait almost 10 days for replacement. Other than that a nice large unit works well in my coach.

DL, I have used the sister unit, 7200, for about a year and really love the large screen and text to speach feature, calling off the street/hwy names. I sometimes use my old Street Pilot and really have to strain reading the small screen and miss the specific speach feature.

I have this same question. Garmin claims a 7-inch screen, but from looking at the the screen samples on their web site it looks like they only use a portion of the screen for the actual map and a almost a third of the screen for displaying buttons, information, etc. Is this the case, or am I missing something?

I have an IWay 600 which has a 6-inch screen and it appears to have as big or maybe even larger map display then the Garmin. The buttons are part of the case and information (data) is displayed only as needed and not there all the time.

The (7200) screen is quite large however some space may be used for other data. The settings menu allows one to select only the map if desired. I prefer to leave Speed, ETA and Next Turn info displayed.

I have the 7200 and I love it. It sits on the dash 4' from me and I can see/read it very good and "Gertie" tells me where to go!
I'd highly recommend it and also The POI Factory

It has lists of places you can download to your GPS like all the Wal-Marts, Sam's, Flying J's and State Campgrounds, Rest areas, ETC!
