We've used a Weber for the last 2 summers and cooked on it almost every night we camped. I never had any issues with grease blocking the burners up. To clean it I use regular oven cleaner, and just spray everything down inside and out, let set 2 hrs., and then use stiff nylon or wire brush as appropriate.

Yeah, a friend had one like that and it looked new and clean but a pain. Mine has a small (4"x6") removable grease tray.

I have only cooked chicken, salmon, tuna and filet mignon so far. I got lucky when I purchased mine. I went to there dealer locator and there is a guy a few streets away that sells them. He does professional BBQ and travels the country doing it. He sold it me for $300.00 and gave me a bag of cherry pellets and delivered it to my house. I didn't get the wifi model.

I was looking at the specs for the Davey Crockett
and it says it weighs 57 lbs..... that seems really heavy for a table top grill that is about 30x20 --- does it really weigh that much ?

I didn't weight it but I would say yes it weighs 57lbs. It's not a cheap throwaway grill.

Are you going to mount that 57 lb grill on a basement slideout tray to avoid lifting and moving it each time it is used?

I'm not mounting mine. I'm just going to keep it on one of my slide out trays. I can carry it by myself with one handed to were ever I want to set it up.
