It has all the features recommended in FormerBoater's post, except the independant front suspesion. Would I have liked IFS, yes. Will I miss it, I doubt it. The only DP I've driven was a beam axle, and I intentionally sought out a very rough section of highway to take it over, at highway speed. I found it very acceptable in its performance; I'm not loosing any sleep over it.

One advantage to a beam axle, it's dirt simple, far fewer bushings and joints to be serviced and eventually needing replacement. The king pin's can last virtually forever, given proper service.

Jay and Peggy,

I am sure your 2011 Revolution LE will ride like a dream.

It is good news that they will be part of the American Coach product line.

My input to Sherri regarding IFS is really about "vintage" older DP's w/o tag axles and the benefit of IFS in a non-tag coach is the stability it gives you when passing/being passed by OTR buses and semi's plus stability in cross winds.

I do not think your Revolution LE will be affected by any of these

JMonroe, rough, formerboater: Thank you for ALL the fabulous input. (I am going to try and print this entire thread.) I won't make an "emotional" decision - I have spreadsheets, checklists, etc. that the coach must meet. I DEFINITELY plan on buying used and do NOT want a tag axle (someone else can take the depreciation!) In addition, I will have a mechanic go over the DP from head to toe before anything is purchased.
