Today in KC MO we are 1.979 unlead reg.
Let the good times continue to roll.
Maybe I'm in some sort of time warp but I definitely recall in about 1973 or 74 gas here (Vermont) crossed 50 cents per gallon.

Come to VT. In my locale we are paying $2.85 +/-. We are caught by a couple of distributors who are working together to keep prices artificially high. 75 miles south of here gas is 20 cents a gallon lower. Senators and Rep have no stones to investigate.

I think we should be buying OPEC oil and storing it in the Fracking ground and then when they think they can raise prices we just live off the stored Fracking oil. 😜

The lower price theory is exactly what was recently reported. Enjoy it now because once they've beaten us up the prices will skyrocket and we'll have nothing to do but suck wind.

$1.75/gal

Came through Texas on I-40 heading east today and saw a Pilot posting gas at $1.75. I have been able to fill up my Hurricane with the cheapest gas at $1.99 on this trip. 6400 miles/ 8MPG means a big time savings at these prices. Wifey and I have been on the road since mid November and this is great for us. We spent an extra week in Vegas because of the cheap gas savings we have had. Here in Marshfield, MO it is $1.89/gal. Tis the season to go RV'n!!!!!!

T Boone Pickens says oil will be back to $90-$100/Bbl within 12-18 months.

Enjoy it while you can!

And in the 60's when I was saving up to get married, they also gave you free steak knives, and juice glasses, ..and washed your windshield, and pumped your gas.

Joy for some

Have friends still in the patch, the smart ones are positioning themselves for the lean days by changing to long term jobs that do not depend on the drilling and fracking side. A few of the ladies I work with have already said their husbands have been given notice their truck driving jobs are over at the end of this year. Companies stating they cannot continue to drill with the high cost and lower income. They know the oil will stay where it is waiting for the higher prices that will come.

Filled up the motorhome today for less than 100.00.

It only took 44 Gallons at 2.21 a gallon for non ethanol fuel.

I'm ready for the road now.

Hope it stays this low till next summer.

Sad to report that according to gasbuddy.com the area I live in has the 2nd highest average fuel prices in the nation. $2.90 per gallon. Better that $3.90 but not as nice as this $1.99 thing you speak of.

MERRY CHRISTMAS

In NE. OH. I don't understand why diesel has gone from $3.99 to the $3.69 to $3.75 range. Where as regular has gone from $3.69 down to $2.10 to $2.25.

Was on the Gas Buddies Canada last night just to see what gas (regular) is selling for along the AlCan. Still close to $5.00 a gallon. Is Canada not seeing any benefits from lower crude?

Planning a trip in 16' to AK.

Filled up the old gal on the 24th, let me go back one filling, I paid around
$380.00,
On the 24th I paid around $190.00
This time alone paid me back with savings for the yearly membership.

Sorry Diesel people's hopeing it will come down for you soon. When I drove OTR back in the late 70's early 80's, Diesel was always a buck less than Gas, I don't get it either.
