Im going to be storing the MH for a few months what is the best fuel level to have. Full 1/2 emtpy? Thanks

I would keep it full to prevent condensation and add Sta-bil gas treatment. You can get it at WM or auto store.

You didn't say where the MH is located or how long a "few months' is. in any case, i would say don't worry about it.

How about half full?

Sorry, Its in Florida, and 3-4 moths tops.

But ... just fill 'til the pump cuts off, don't "top off" (never should anyway). It's relatively cool now, and if you fill all the way to the top, the fuel will expand as it gets warmer, and overflow.

Just use common sense, you'll be fine.

I have a collector car that I leave in Yuma AZ for about 6 months every year. I start the engine, turn off the gas and let it run until it dies. Never put anything in the gas tank and have never had a problem. Could be the humidity conditions here preclude the algae growth problem. Also, I fill the tank first thing when I get back.

I always fill my tank before it goes to storage. The longest it is in storage is about 6 weeks. I live in earthquake country so I want to have it ready to go if one hits.

This time of year in much of the country there is another argument for FULL.

I recall one New Years, coming home from church and seeing Frosty the air-blown inflatable snowman sleeping on the job.

Sure enough. lights out in the neighborhood

I had a full tank on the motor home...... Which has 5500 watts of electric slund under it... I ran the cord, fired the ONAN, flipped the needed transfer switches in the house basement and ......

LIGHTS, HEAT, COMPUTERS, and cold food in the fridge and freezer with watts to spare.

You might consider adding a biocide...it will kill any algae that grows in what little water there will be in your tank. You can find it at any marine store.
