I've had Geico for 3 years now on MH & toad. Recently had a comp claim on both. One for hail on toad, came out immediately and issued check. This spring received wind damage on MH, within 3 days of call had a check in hand. Wind ripped tv antenna off and tore a small hole 2" in rubber roof, Geico paid for new roof. No problems great service, best price.

I've had GEICO for 10 years.... Two windshields repaired and one replaced... then I got a speeding ticket my first in the past 20 years and it was at 20 mph over (speed trap), resulting in no increase in premium... Shortly after I had a total loss accident and they offered wholesale due to higher than normal mileage and I was $3000 upside down but my GAP coverage purchased through the dealer took care of the difference..... even after the total loss claim, no increase in premium and so far great service...

When I purchased my HD Fatboy and 2 new Acuras, nothing down, and always purchased GAP for just in case....

I have had excellent service from Geico over the past 10 years, which includes significant repairs to two cars from tornado damage, and three cars from minor accidents.

Have Geico for my RV but no experience with any claims for it.

Have Geico roadside assistance, but no experience with it, and just to be safe, have Coachnet.

I recently was insurance hunting and GEICO came in low. However after really reading the small print, the policy would not cover a reasonable full replacement cost. Second point, they would not offer any deductible other than $5000.00 for comp. and collision due to value. Also wanted my social security number over the phone. I didn't know the CS rep from Adam! Bottom line, after several weeks of comparison the policy went to National Interstate. They underwrite many agencies. The interesting fact, three companies all underwritten by National had different price points for the exact coverage. I ended with Twin Peaks agency out of Ft. Lauderdale FL. They were $230.00 less than FMCA underwritten by National. Let's see what happens next year. Let the games begin. This has happened every year, by that I mean, you buy the first year at a low price point next year it is raised significantly. Example: Blue Sky 2013 $1660.00, 2014- $2600.00 no claims. Progressive 2012-$1700.00 2013-$2500.00. Insurance, as another forum member quotes "is extortion." I have to agree!

I switched to GEICO from Farmers, they were half the cost, could care less about the small print, they all have small print.

Many folks seem concerned when they find out that USAA farms out MH policies to Progressive. Remember, it's only powered RVs. USAA insures trailers. But even so, if your Progressive policy is through USAA you deal with a separate office, so to speak. Service is totally different compared to direct dealings with Progressive. That being said, I insured with Allied because Progressive threw me under the bus on a no claim incident where the other driver (state farm) claimed it was my fault. Progressive didn't bother to fight since I didn't make any claim so they agreed to "joint fault." Problem is it's now on my record and the ONLY incident in 50 years of driving. Plus, I don't like Progressive owner's political leanings. The name of the company is all telling.

You will always be able to find some company cheaper, very 6 months or year. Every companies rates move most every year. You may save yourself a little money one of those years, but if you have a problem, you had better have a personal relationship with your agent! I have been an agent for the best insurance company in the nation for 31 years and try to take care of my people. You will not get that with a 1-800 number, no matter what "Flo" says or the "lizard"! Not trying to come off too head strong, I'm just saying......

Had Progressive for many years. And had price creep every year, eventually got to be a big number, so I "shopped" it. I am now with AARP Hartford. Cut my monthly premium in half!!
The surprising thing is I had two claims, one was one of those minor accident with a big price tag. I expected that to kill any chance of changing my provider. Was not an issue.
