'Gen Cooldown' message on inverter panel?

Not sure what the 'Gen Cooldown' message is on my Magnum Inverter panel, but I've not seen it before. The panel also stays on all the time now rather than only for a minute or so.
I'm running the generater, and have also on the AGS, with no problems, but can't find any info on what this message actually means...

It's part of the AGS function. It means that the genset power has been disconnected from the 120vac system but the genset engine is still running, to allow it to cool down before shutting off. A "cooldown" period is desirable after the genset has been running under a load for some time. The genset is supposed to shut down after a brief cooldown period.

You should find info about this message in your AGS op manual. You probably have the network version of AGS, which is designed to be coupled with the Magum Remote display and a Magnum inverter.

sounds good, but this message was on the panel WITHOUT the genset running.

UPDATE: this message continued well after the generator was no longer running, and the coach even connected to shore 50a power.

I called magnum support, and was quickly told to go to the AGS feature and turn it OFF. This removed the 'gen cooldown' message. I was told that it sometimes happens even if the genset does not need cooling down(?), and will continue to display even then.

After the message was removed, I reset the AGS to 'enable'(ON), and everything went back to normal, and the backlight eventually also went off.

Thanks Magnum customer tech service : )
