Class A motorhome? It has to come out the bottom if it's not on a slide-out in the front.
Class C or Super C motorhome? Haven't seen one yet that wasn't on a slide of some sort, perhaps it's rusted and wont move?

Build you a dolly system under it, remove the bolts and roll it out. It's heavy, so use a cherry picker to lift it.
What model is the genny? I have moved them on the furniture dollys from Harbor Freight.

I guess it's a front end gen. Unhook fuel lines unhook exhaust unhook electrical a couple of floor jacks unbolt lower down sounds easy most places get around 200.00 to take out and the same to put back.
