Generac

motor home set for 3 years and after i helped a buddy get cab cleaned out it started real good but the gen has no power at the breakers on gen set any idea?

See if you can find the slip rings and brush's on the generator end.

Spray some contact cleaner at them. It may clean them up and get them making contact.

May not help, but only costs a can of spray.

Start it and let it run for about a half hour. Shut it down then restart it and hold the start switch down for a few seconds after the genny starts. Generacs need that extra starter hold to start their exciter circuit. Sometimes just running it will clean the slip ring enough to get electric out of it.

Be sure to exercise this generator for one hour at least once a week for the next month or the same problem will crop up. Don't ask how I know this.
