Generator fuel pick up
I have a Pace Arrow 37C. I don't think that matters, anyway how far does the fuel pick up go down into the fuel tank? I have a 75 gal fuel tank. I am parked on a front to back slope (not camping, in my yard) and have something less than a half tank. Can't get it to start, seems like it's not getting gas. Thanks for your help in advance.

Typically the generator supply is set at 1/4 tank on level ground. Deepending on where to pickup is located within the tank and how much slope you are on it is possible that the generator is not getting fuel.

Pete.....There are several things that can be happening. Depending at what end of the tank they installed the sending unit, you could actually be at a quarter tank because of the slope and not drawing fuel.
If you are sure you're not getting fuel, there are a couple of things you can try.
The first thing I would do is get 2-3 five gallon gas cans and add some fuel to the tank and then see if it will start.
If that doesn't work, your fuel line for the generator may have rotted out (drawing air) somewhere between the tank and generator. A good way to check this is to run a gas line straight off of the generator into a five gallon can of gas. If it starts and runs, you have a hose issue.
If none of this works, you need to start checking other things like fuel pumps and electrical items. I just like to try the simplest things first and then work your way to the more technical stuff.

simplest thing would be a fuel filter.
I suspect its simply a matter of the slope on which you are parked. If it was leveled, I'd bet it would start and run.

I think I'll pull it on the level and try it.
